Obama in the lead =)

Well this is the second blog for yesterdays assignment. I read an article about the electoral votes. Obama carried the states that Bush carried in '04, which greatly improves his chances of winning. I think he is going to win. I hope so. I don't remember that much from yesterday, but i do know that McCain is real desperate in getting some more states. The article said Obama has a double digit lead, which makes me extra happy. Obama is getting most of the republican states, which is funny, seeing how McCain is a true republican.

Sense of Unease in Some Black Voters

I found this article very interesting. For some reason i didn't like the repetitiveness of the word "black", and felt much more comfortable hearing African American, which appeared like twice. Early voting seems like it has alot of risks and i would be nervous too. Votes can get lost and miscounted and what not. Also on election day many other things can go wrong, like the bus system. It seems like this town has alot of problems with elections, and they said they get exited for something then get dissappointed. This seems scary to me becuase the residents want Obama to win, but might get dissappointed if McCain ends up winning.

Obama!!!!!!!!

Now its time for Obama. I wish i could vote so badly. I missed it by one year(I'm 17). This sucks. Well anyway. Obama is defiantly the best candidate and the best one for president. Sometimes he does show negative campaign ads and he does not support gay marriage, which sucks really bad. He is supposed to be a democrat but doesn't support it, and I'm all for gays rights and stuff. Other than that he is the best man for the job. His policies are excellent. Especially his ones regarding The middle class and taxes. The rich/ wealthy people need to give more taxes. He even admitted that the wealthy need to give. He said he doesn't want anyone to pay taxes but he said to it makes this country stronger. Also his policies on foreign policy are good. He said we need to stop relying on other countries and worry about things back home. I think this is so true because other countries wont help us out that much. Many of his policies i support 100% so i think obama needs to win.

McCain

Well here is the assignment for journalism. We are supposed to talk about one of the presidential candidates. well lets talk about McCain first. Personally i cant stand McCain. And Palin is even worse. I dont know him but i can just tell he would be a bad president. His conduct in the debates was just horrible. He has no class at all. I mean come on, why would anyone vote for him?He is too similar to bush first off, plus hes like 72 years old. Imagine if something happens to him?Then Palin is president. Scary. His polocies will not benifit the country at all. He's a know it all, and thinks hes soooo much better than Obama. Who likes someone like that?
